            Softball Recap: Oswego East Wolves vs. Naperville North Huskies        
        
		
        
        
            Oswego East's game  on Thursday was a  loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them  on Saturday. They had just enough and edged out the Naperville North Huskies  3-2. For the Wolves, this counts as revenge for the   17-7 victory the Huskies walked away with the last time they faced one another  back in April of 2024.

 Sophia Anderson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned runs on six hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in five consecutive appearances.
 At the plate, Oswego East's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Danielle Stone, who  went 2-for-3 with one  triple and one  double. That  triple was  Stone's first of the season.
The  victory  got Oswego East back to even at 8-8. As for Naperville North, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Oswego East will head out to  take on Plainfield South  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for Naperville North, they will venture away from home to  challenge Naperville Central  at 4:30  p.m.  on Monday. The Huskies' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Redhawks have averaged an impressive 7.7  runs per game this season.
