Softball Recap: Minneapolis Southwest Takes a Loss

Minneapolis Southwest suffered their closest defeat since April 25th on Saturday. They fell just short of the Highland Park Scots by a score of 12-10. The Lakers have struggled against the Scots recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

Minneapolis Southwest's loss dropped their record down to 8-12. As for Highland Park, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-8 record this season.

Minneapolis Southwest will take on Roosevelt at 12:30 p.m. on Monday. The Teddies will roll in looking for their sixth straight win, something the Lakers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Highland Park, they will challenge Apple Valley at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
