St. Cloud and Celebration are an even 4-4 against one another since March of 2021, but not for long. The Bulldogs will be taking part in a tournament against the Storm at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams each escaped (but just barely!) with wins against their previous opponents.

St. Cloud got their first taste of in-conference action on Tuesday and they started things off strong. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Harmony, sneaking past 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Bulldogs have posted since March 14th.

Among those leading the charge was Fernando Mendez Morales, who had nine digs and two aces. That's the most aces he has posted since back in March.

Mendez Morales wasn't the only good server: St. Cloud was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. The Bulldogs are 4-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Meanwhile, Celebration sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over Poinciana on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Storm.

St. Cloud better keep an eye on Davi Jardim. He was instrumental in Celebration's win, getting 19 digs and one assist. Jardim has been hot recently, having posted ten or more digs the last four times he's played.

Celebration's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for St. Cloud, the victory got them back to even at 8-8.

Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Friday's game: St. Cloud has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 7.3 aces per game. However, it's not like Celebration struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8.9 aces.
