Soccer Game Preview: Macomb vs. Alleman

The Macomb Bombers will face off against the Alleman Pioneers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Macomb's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for five straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Macomb fell victim to Quincy Notre Dame and their airtight defense on Monday. They lost 6-0 to the Raiders.

Meanwhile, after failing to score in their last match, Alleman made sure to put some goals up on the board against Sterling on Tuesday. They blew past the Golden Warriors 7-2. The result was nothing new for Alleman, who have now won six contests by three goals or more so far this season.

Alleman has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-3-1 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 29 goals over those eight matches. As for Macomb, their loss dropped their record down to 2-11.
