Volleyball Recap: Southmoore Comes Up Short

Southmoore was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Edmond Santa Fe Wolves. The SaberCats were not able to make up for their loss to the Wolves from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Edmond Santa Fe to victory, but perhaps none more so than Reagan Mason, who had 11 assists and two aces. Mason has been hot, having posted two or more aces the last six times she's played. Kira Griffin also deserves some recognition as she had her first kill of the season.

Southmoore's defeat dropped their record down to 6-18. As for Edmond Santa Fe, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 16-11.

Coincidentally, Southmoore and Edmond Santa Fe will both be playing Bishop McGuinness the next time they take the court. The SaberCats will head out to face the Fighting Irish at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Wolves will play them later in the day, at 2:00 p.m.
