Volleyball Recap: Ozark Comes Up Short

If Ozark was feeling good fresh off their 3-0 takedown of Morrilton on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Hillbillies took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Prairie Grove Tigers on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Hillbillies in their meetings with the Tigers: they've now lost nine in a row.

Sydnie Herriage paced Ozark's offense, picking up five kills. Herriage got some help from Sara Abulawi and her ten assists.

Ozark's defeat dropped their record down to 6-8. As for Prairie Grove, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-2.

Ozark has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Gravette on the 27th. As for Prairie Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Mansfield on the 27th.
