Baseball Game Preview: Columbine Rebels vs. Dakota Ridge Eagles

Columbine hasn't had much luck against Dakota Ridge recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. Columbine will face off against Dakota Ridge at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Columbine came into their game on Saturday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Bishop Manogue, falling 9-1.

Columbine saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Pryce Richie, who went 1-for-2 with one double. John Swanson also deserves some recognition as he scored his first run of the season.

Meanwhile, Dakota Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They lost 11-1 to Windsor. That's two games in a row now that the Eagles have lost by exactly ten runs.

Dakota Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Columbine, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-6.
