The Wahconah Regional Warriors will square off against the East Longmeadow Spartans at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Thursday, Wahconah Regional earned a 3-1 victory over Taconic. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Warriors.
The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-15, 19-25, 25-13.

Madison Judson was the offensive standout of the contest as she had 13 digs. That's the most digs she has posted over her last six matchups. Juliana Bourassa also deserves some recognition as she served her first aces of the season.
Wahconah Regional was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 12 consecutive matches.
Meanwhile, East Longmeadow hadn't done well against Frontier Regional recently (they were 0-6 in their previous six matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Spartans came out on top against the Red Hawks by a score of 3-1.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 17-25, 25-23, 25-16.
East Longmeadow's win bumped their record up to 17-3. As for Wahconah Regional, their victory bumped their record up to 14-6.
Here's a few offensive stats to keep an eye on ahead of Saturday's contest: Wahconah Regional has really dialed in their serving this season, having averaged 12.2 aces per game. However, it's not like East Longmeadow struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 16.6 aces. Given these competing strengths, it'll be interesting to see how their clash plays out.
Wahconah Regional suffered a grim 3-0 defeat to East Longmeadow when the teams last played back in September. Can the Warriors avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
