Basketball Game Preview: Christian Academy Warriors vs. North Harrison Cougars

The Christian Academy Warriors will challenge the North Harrison Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Christian Academy had been on a three-game streak of scoring at least 55 points, but Seymour put an end to it on Friday. Christian Academy lost to Seymour on the road by a 41-26 margin. The contest marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Meanwhile, North Harrison was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 60-42 bruising from Paoli. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 290th in Indiana, while the Rams are ranked 67th in Indiana).

With the loss, Christian Academy broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 14-8. They've dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 34.4 points. As for North Harrison, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-14.

Christian Academy strolled past North Harrison in their previous matchup back in February of 2024 by a score of 55-39. Will Christian Academy repeat their success, or does North Harrison have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
