Basketball Recap: Hudson Comes Up Short

Hudson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were dealt a 53-17 defeat at the hands of the Gulf Buccaneers. The Cobras were not able to make up for their loss to the Buccaneers from their previous meeting back in December of 2023.

Despite the loss, Hudson still got an impressive performance from Grace Rutherford, who posted ten points.

Hudson's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for Gulf, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season.

Hudson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 56-38 win against Tarpon Springs on the 10th. As for Gulf, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 51-40 victory against Cypress Creek on the 10th.
