Basketball Game Preview: Richmond Hill Wildcats vs. Lowndes Vikings

Richmond Hill hasn't had much luck against Lowndes recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Richmond Hill Wildcats will head out on the road to take on the Lowndes Vikings at 4:30 p.m. Richmond Hill will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak.

Last Saturday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Richmond Hill beat Colquitt County 47-42.

Meanwhile, Lowndes unfortunately witnessed the end of their 13-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 65-57 to Creekside.

Richmond Hill pushed their record up to 15-3 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.3 points per game. As for Lowndes, their defeat dropped their record down to 15-2.

Richmond Hill came up short against Lowndes when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 49-39. Can Richmond Hill avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
