Volleyball Recap: Bryan Station's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

Bryan Station lost against Farragut back in August of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Defenders fell just short of the Admirals by a score of 2-1. The loss put an end to the Defenders' undefeated start to the season.

Cameron Owens paced Bryan Station's offense, picking up 22 kills. Owens got some help from Nyalie Locke and her 21 assists. Owens was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Having lost for the first time this season, Bryan Station fell to 2-1. As for Farragut, their victory was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 5-0.

Bryan Station wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Dobyns-Bennett on the 23rd. As for Farragut, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Sacred Heart on the 23rd.
