Soccer Recap: Amherst Central Takes a Loss

Despite a strong season so far, Amherst Central has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Williamsville South Billies. That's two games in a row now that Amherst Central have lost by just one goal.

Amherst Central's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Williamsville South, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Amherst Central will welcome Starpoint at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Williamsville South, they will be playing at home against East Aurora at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday.
