Chickasha barely beat Kingfisher the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Fightin Chicks blew past the Yellowjackets 12-2 on Tuesday. The result was nothing new for the Fightin Chicks, who have now won eight matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the third in a row for Chickasha, bringing their record up to 10-7. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.7 runs on average over those games. As for Kingfisher, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 11-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Chickasha will venture away from home to take on Oologah at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Kingfisher, they will head out to face off against Edmond Santa Fe at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Wolves' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Yellowjackets' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
