Basketball Recap: East Central HomeSchool Comes Up Short

East Central HomeSchool has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were five points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 56-51 heartbreaker at the hands of the Evangel Christian Lightning. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lightning this season, with their most recent defeat being a 53-24 loss last Friday.

East Central HomeSchool's defeat dropped their record down to 13-5. As for Evangel Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7 record this season.

East Central HomeSchool does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Evangel Christian, they will have a chance to turn things around after yesterday's loss to Ezekiel Academy at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday after yesterday's loss. Ezekiel Academy will roll in looking for their ninth straight win, something Evangel Christian surely won't give up without a fight.
