Soccer Recap: Bishop Kenny Takes a Loss

Bishop Kenny lost against Nease back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bishop Kenny Crusaders came up short against the Nease Panthers, falling 5-1. The Crusaders were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 3-0.

Bishop Kenny is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5-1. As for Nease, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bishop Kenny will head out to take on Episcopal School of Jacksonville at 7:20 p.m. on Monday. Episcopal School of Jacksonville's last three matches have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Nease, they are taking a road trip to face off against Beachside at 7:20 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Beachside has won three straight at home, while Nease won three straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
