The Harker Eagles will challenge the More Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Harker is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.
On Thursday, Harker got the win against Jefferson by a conclusive 13-3. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by six runs or more this season.

Mason Brooks made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He struck out seven batters over 2.1 innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI.
In other batting news, Harker let Arturo Vilalta and Eaton Cao run wild. Vilalta got on base in three of his four plate appearances with three stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI, while Cao went 2-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Those two hits gave Cao a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Shaurya Jain, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.
Harker always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .622. They are a perfect 6-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, More came up short against Fremont last Thursday and fell 6-2. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Easton Selway made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with two RBI and one double.
More's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Harker, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-7.
Friday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Harker has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .464. However, it's not like More struggles in that department as they've averaged .437. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
Harker suffered a grim 11-2 defeat to More in their previous meeting back in March of 2024. Can the Eagles avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
