Soccer Recap: South Extends Winning Streak to Three

South had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5 goals) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They blew past the Geneva Eagles 3-0. South's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last three games.

Landon Kenesky and Zachary Pizem scored all three of South's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

South's win bumped their record up to 4-2-1. As for Geneva, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Looking ahead, South will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against North at 7:00 p.m. The match will give South their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Geneva, they will head out on the road to face off against Lakeside at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
