Basketball Recap: Adair Takes a Loss

Adair was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Sequoyah Eagles, falling 76-50. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 220th, while the Eagles are ranked 48th).

Adair's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Sequoyah, their victory bumped their record up to 11-1.

Adair will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Inola at 7:30 p.m. on January 28th. As for Sequoyah, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 52-38 win against Ketchum on the 18th.
