Guthrie has been away from home for three games now, but on Monday they'll finally make their return. They will welcome the Blanchard Lions at 5:00 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

Guthrie's pitching crew heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Edmond Santa Fe with a sharp 8-0 victory.

Ryn McCormick and Haley Gallo did most of the damage at the plate: McCormick scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3, while Gallo scored a run while going 2-for-3. At the plate, Peyton Hector was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. Quinlyn Johnson was another key player, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-2.

Guthrie's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 22-7. As for Blanchard, their win bumped their record up to 29-5.
