Gig Harbor had to skate by with only a one-set margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the three-set drubbing they dealt Mount Tahoma on Wednesday. The Tides blew past the T-Birds 3-0. The Tides haven't had any issues with the T-Birds recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Gig Harbor's win bumped their record up to 11-5. As for Mount Tahoma, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-17.
