Mt. Pleasant's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They came out on top against the Summertown Eagles by a score of 21-14. The win continues a trend for the Tigers in their matchups with the Eagles: they've now won four in a row.

Kayden McCrory had another great game (as he tends to do), rushing for 70 yards and two TDs. Payton Niehaus also deserves a mention for his punt return touchdown.

Mt. Pleasant's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Summertown, their loss dropped their record down to 2-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Mt. Pleasant is set to square off against their familiar foe Riverside at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Summertown will take on rival Scotts Hill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
