Basketball Recap: Chester Falls to Cheltenham in First Game of Season

Chester kicked off their season on the road on Thursday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a hard 65-47 fall against the Cheltenham Panthers. If the Clippers were looking for revenge after losing 63-53 to the Panthers when the teams met back in December of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Cheltenham pushed their record up to 1-1 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Chester will host Muhlenberg at 2:30 p.m. on the 13th. As for Cheltenham, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Lower Moreland at 7:00 p.m.
