Basketball Game Preview: Rimrock Raiders vs. Owyhee Braves + How To Watch

The Rimrock Raiders will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Owyhee Braves at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Rimrock will be strutting in after a win while Owyhee will be coming in after a loss.

Rimrock had to skate by with only a three-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 26-point drubbing they dealt Castleford on Thursday. The Raiders were the clear victors by a 53-27 margin over the Wolves.

Hays Black went supernova, shooting 47% from the field en route to 18 points in addition to six rebounds and three steals. The game was his seventh in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Dylan McNeley, who posted ten points and three steals.

Rimrock was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Castleford only posted seven.

Owyhee kicked off their season on the road on Saturday and hit a couple of potholes. They took a 44-25 bruising from McDermitt. The Braves were down 39-18 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Rimrock was able to grind out a solid victory over Owyhee in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 67-55. Will the Raiders repeat their success, or do the Braves have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
