Basketball Recap: Belt's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

After flying high against Great Falls Central Catholic on Friday, Belt came back down to earth. The Belt Huskies fell 54-42 to the Roy/Winifred Outlaws on Saturday. The loss continues a trend for the Huskies in their matchups with the Outlaws: they've now lost eight in a row.

Belt's defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-5. As for Roy/Winifred, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-3 record this season.

While Belt had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on February 8th.
