Everglades couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They lost 48-24 to the Cooper City Cowboys on Monday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gators of the 66-31 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.
