Basketball Game Preview: Lisle Lions vs. Westmont Sentinels

The Lisle Lions will head out on the road to square off against the Westmont Sentinels at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Tuesday, Lisle had to suffer through a 63-36 loss at the hands of Reed-Custer. The Lions have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Westmont came up short against Rochelle Zell Jewish on Wednesday and fell 61-54.

Lisle's defeat dropped their record down to 7-24. As for Westmont, their loss dropped their record down to 13-17.

Lisle didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Westmont in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, but they still walked away with a 42-37 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lisle since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
