The Lighthouse Christian Chargers posted their closest win since February 1st on Friday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 57-54 win over Omaha Lightning. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lighthouse Christian.
Lighthouse Christian got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Lee Stinson out in front who scored 19 points along with two steals. Stinson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Elijah Rahn, who scored ten points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Lighthouse Christian's victory bumped their record up to 17-14. As for Omaha Lightning, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Lighthouse Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Marion H at 12:15 p.m. on February 28th. Omaha Lightning does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
