Football Recap: Carbondale Area Comes Up Short

The matchup between Carbondale Area and Riverside on Friday hardly resembled the 17-8 effort from their previous meeting. The Chargers took a blow against the Vikings, falling 55-7. The Chargers haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Carbondale Area's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Riverside, they pushed their record up to 7-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road.
