Baseball Recap: Westside Comes Up Short

Westside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their 28th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 19-4 to the Cedar Creek Christian Saints. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Saints this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-7 back in February.

Westside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for Cedar Creek Christian, their win ended a seven-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-17.

Looking ahead, Westside will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Ribault at 6:30 p.m. The Wolverines' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Trojans have averaged an impressive 9.3 runs per game this season. As for Cedar Creek Christian, they will head out to take on Raines at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
