Basketball Recap: Pleasant Extends Winning Streak to Three

Pleasant had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They walked away with a 34-22 victory over the Tree of Life Christian Trojans. Given the Spartans' advantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 230th, while the Trojans are ranked 496th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Pleasant is also on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-6 record this season. As for Tree of Life Christian, their defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 10-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pleasant won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Marion Harding at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Tree of Life Christian, they will face off against Delaware Christian at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
