Football Recap: Eastside Tigers vs. Williamstown Braves
Eastside was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They were beaten by the Williamstown Braves 44-14. One positive for the Tigers, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
Williamstown found their leader in freshman Trey Alexander, who rushed for 111 yards and three touchdowns. That's the most rushing yards Alexander has posted since back in August.
Eastside's defeat dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Williamstown, with the win, they broke their eight-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-8.
Eastside will venture away from home to square off against Pleasantville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Williamstown does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
