Basketball Recap: Timberline Takes a Loss

Timberline was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 11th straight loss. They were beaten by the Highland Huskies 54-21. The Spartans were down 52-11 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Leading Highland to victory were Sheradyn Stamper and Kylee Beck. Stamper dropped a double-double on 17 points and 12 steals, while Beck dropped a double-double on 17 points and 13 boards. Stamper is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Alli Mae Moddrell, who dropped a double-double on ten points and ten rebounds.

Timberline's defeat dropped their record down to 0-11. As for Highland, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-7 record.

Timberline has already played their next game (against Genesee), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Highland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 32-27 loss against Colton on the 25th.
