La Salle Academy strolled into their game on Sunday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Silver Lake Regional Lakers by a score of 6-1. The Rams have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Lakers, too.

Hailey Vigneau spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on five hits and racked up ten Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Elle Kershaw, who fired off two home runs and four RBI while going 2-for-3. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Samantha Sell was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one home run.

They weren't the only ones working in the home run department: La Salle Academy lost a few balls and finished the game with four home runs. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now launched at least four home runs in three consecutive games.

La Salle Academy pushed their record up to 15-0 with the victory, which was their 22nd straight at home dating back to last season. The home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.8 runs over those games. As for Silver Lake Regional, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 10-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. La Salle Academy will host Coventry at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Oakers have averaged an impressive 7.9 runs per game this season. As for Silver Lake Regional, they will welcome Hingham at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
