Wells came into Saturday's matchup looking for another win against Trinity, but Ayden DeBose wouldn't allow it. The Tigers strolled past the Pirates with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 74-60 with plenty of help from DeBose, who posted 25 points. Trinity is undefeated when DeBose posts 15 or more points, but 1-3 otherwise.

The win made it two in a row for Trinity and bumps their season record up to 7-3. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.0 points over those games. As for Wells, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-4.

Trinity wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 62-59 defeat against Kennard on the 9th. As for Wells, they will be home for the holidays to greet Grace Community at 6:30 p.m. on the 15th.
