Rancho Cucamonga dropped down to 12-17 on Thursday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins. They fell 3-1 to the Los Osos Grizzlies. Cougars fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Grizzlies since Thursday.

As for Los Osos, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 21-5 record this season. The game was the first time they have beaten Rancho Cucamonga on their court since September 30, 2021.

Los Osos found their leader in sophomore Annaly Landeros, who had 25 digs and two aces. Those 25 digs set a new season-high mark for Landeros.

Rancho Cucamonga has already played their next match, a 3-0 loss against Etiwanda on the 13th. As for Los Osos, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against Venice on the 11th.
