Strasburg came tearing into Tuesday's game with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 29.1 points) and they left with even more momentum. They really took it to the Windsor Charter Academy Firebirds for the full four quarters, racking up a 66-32 victory. The Indians have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matches by 26 points or more this season.

Strasburg was led to victory by Peighton Marrero and Natalie Damron. Marrero went 10 of 17 en route to 22 points and seven steals, while Damron dropped a double-double on 19 points and 12 boards. Marrero has been hot for a while, having posted two or more steals the last nine times she's played. Taryn LaForce was another key player, putting up nine points and five rebounds.

Strasburg smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Windsor Charter Academy only pulled down 14 offensive rebounds.

Several Firebirds players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Olivia Marini, who posted four points and seven boards. Ella Grasmick also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Strasburg pushed their record up to 8-2 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.0 points per game. As for Windsor Charter Academy, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5.

Strasburg will host Resurrection Christian at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Resurrection Christian will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Strasburg surely won't give up without a fight. As for Windsor Charter Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 35-33 win against Loveland Classical on the 23rd.
