Coal City's matchup on Tuesday was close up to the half, but then they kicked things up a notch. They never let the Reed-Custer Comets get on the board and left with an 8-0 victory. The result was nothing new for Coal City, who have now won seven contests by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Reed-Custer with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Julian Micetich (3), Luke Munsterman (2), Dane Noffsinger (2), and Kaleb Reinert.

Coal City's win bumped their record up to 10-0. As for Reed-Custer, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Coal City will venture away from home to face off against Manteno at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Reed-Custer, they will head out to challenge Grant Park at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
