There's no place like home for Tupelo, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Saturday. They put the hurt on the Itawamba Agricultural Indians with a sharp 61-36 victory on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Golden Wave also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.

Several Indians players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jonathan Holliday, who posted nine points and five boards. Calon Shumpert was another key player, putting up 12 points.

The win got Tupelo back to even at 1-1. As for Itawamba Agricultural, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 1-1.

Coming up, Tupelo will take on Center Hill at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Itawamba Agricultural, they will square off against West Union at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
