Baseball Recap: Manatee Takes a Loss

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Manatee's offense. They fell 5-0 to the Port Charlotte Pirates on Tuesday. The Hurricanes' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Manatee got a good showing from Matt Fonseca, who tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits.

Manatee's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Port Charlotte, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Manatee will take on Parrish Community at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Port Charlotte, they will face off against Cypress Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
