Missouri high school football: Top teams, games, players and prospects ahead of 2020 season

De Smet Jesuit looks to repeat as the top team in the Show Me State.

The third week of the high school football season kicks off with 10 more states set to begin play. Missouri will be among the next set of states to begin the season with a schedule that gets underway Aug. 28. As things stand, the postseason is set to begin Nov. 11 with championship games scheduled for Dec. 4-5.

Missouri is one of 34 states planning to play football this fall. Sixteen others plus the District of Columbia have moved their respective seasons to 2021.

In Missouri, a total of 186 games are set to kick off on Friday and Saturday.
