Tri-Village is headed into the game after thoroughly thrashing Twin Valley South: they outscored them in every quarter. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Tri-Village blew Twin Valley South out of the water with a 70-38 final score. The Patriots have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Stivers School for the Arts hadn't done well against Thurgood Marshall recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. Stivers School for the Arts pulled ahead with a 46-45 photo finish over Thurgood Marshall. That's two games straight that the Tigers have won by just one point.
