Calvin Christian won the last time they faced Orange Glen and things went their way on Friday too. The Calvin Christian Crusaders really took it to the Orange Glen Patriots for the full four quarters, racking up a 64-35 victory. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Crusaders had established a 21 point advantage.

Calvin Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Caleb Lapka, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and 11 boards. The dominant performance also gave Lapka a new career-high in blocks (three). Noah Lampkins was another key player, going 6 for 9 to rack up 15 points and three steals.

The victory made it two in a row for Calvin Christian and bumps their season record up to 11-10. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.0 points over those games. As for Orange Glen, they are on a 29-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-27.

Coincidentally, Calvin Christian and Orange Glen will both be playing Rock Academy the next time they take the court. Calvin Christian will head out to face Rock Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Orange Glen will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on February 14th.
