Basketball Recap: Tahoma Comes Up Short

If Tahoma was feeling good fresh off their 84-52 takedown of Auburn Riverside last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Tahoma Bears came up short against the Kentwood Conquerors on Friday, falling 90-65. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 93-66 back in December of 2024.

Tahoma's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Kentwood, their win bumped their record up to 11-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tahoma will square off against Mt. Rainier at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Tahoma's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five matches. As for Kentwood, they will face off against Glacier Peak at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Glacier Peak will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Kentwood surely won't give up without a fight.
