Aniya McGregor Game Report: @ Lumberton

On Friday, Pinecrest had to settle for second even though Aniya McGregor put up the best numbers she has all season. McGregor went 7 of 16 en route to 22 points and four steals, good enough to set a new career-high in points in the process. That high mark didn't come from nowhere: she has now grabbed three or more in the last four games she's played.

McGregor and Pinecrest will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Providence at 6:00 p.m. on January 3, 2025. The matchup will pit McGregor up against the Panthers' star shooting guard ZaMiyah Brooks. With so much talent on the court, fans are surely in for an exciting game.
