Basketball Recap: Myrtle Point Comes Up Short

Myrtle Point has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 37-35 heartbreaker at the hands of the Santiam Christian Eagles.

Myrtle Point's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Santiam Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 3-7.

Myrtle Point wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 47-16 win against Siuslaw on the 4th. Santiam Christian has also already played their next game, a 63-48 victory against South Umpqua on the 4th.
