Baseball Recap: Lake Park Victorious

Lake Park won the last time they faced Glenbard North and things went their way on Saturday too. The Lancers narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Panthers 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Lancers have posted against the Panthers since May 4, 2023.

Anrhony Durava tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out seven over 6.2 innings pitched. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Lake Park is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 9-10 otherwise.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Gavin O'Neil, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and one stolen base. Another player making a difference was Robert Munaco, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.
