Basketball Recap: Glenn Takes a Loss

Glenn was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They were dealt a 74-42 defeat at the hands of the East Forsyth Eagles. The Bobcats were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 47-16.

Despite the loss, Glenn still got an impressive performance from Kendrick Hines, who went 5 for 8 on his way to 12 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Rain Booker, who went 5 of 12 en route to 12 points along with six rebounds and three steals.

Glenn's loss dropped their record down to 5-17. As for East Forsyth, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 13-4.

Coming up, Glenn will face off against Davie at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Davie has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games. As for East Forsyth, they will take on West Forsyth at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. West Forsyth is on a eight-game streak of home wins, East Forsyth a five-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the court.
