Mead hadn't done well against Palmer Ridge recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way  on Saturday. The Mavericks were the clear victors by  a  3-0 margin over the Bears. The Mavericks were shut out  2-0 the last time they took on the Bears, so the Mavericks were just returning the favor.
 Rylee Klatt paced Mead's offense, picking up ten kills. Klatt got some help from  Kamdyn Morris and her three assists. Klatt was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with three aces.
The  victory made it two in a row for Mead and  bumps their season record up to 3-1. As for Palmer Ridge, they now  have a losing record of 2-3.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Mead is headed away from home for the first time to  challenge  Roosevelt  at 6:30  p.m.  on Thursday. As for Palmer Ridge, they will head out to  square off against Rampart  at 6:00  p.m.  on Wednesday.
