Basketball Recap: Olive Comes Up Short

Olive was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a hard 33-18 fall against the Yale Bulldogs. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Olive's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Yale, their victory ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-13.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Olive will face off against Hominy at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Yale, they will take on Woodland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
